It all began on . . .

A Spring day in May 2016 when Terri Burton, a Registered Nurse decided to leave the historical home she loved in St. Anne's Hill to return to a home where she could be closer to nature and raise a few animals.  After months of looking at rural properties, nothing seemed to fit just right. Until the realtor called and said, "I think you need to see this place."  It took all of five minutes and a contract was being written for the Siebenthaler Estate.

The Siebenthaler family, well known in Miami Valley for their landscaping company had developed this 10 acre parcel into an urban oasis.  There are two ponds, abundant wildlife, such as Heron, Deer, Coyote, Owls, Geese, Ducks, Hawks, every imaginable bird, stocked ponds with Catfish, Bluegill, Largemouth Bass and Koi in addition the goat herd, chicken flock, two dogs and three cats that reside on site.

There is wide variety of unique trees including the pine forest where goat yoga takes place, and flowers and plants that bloom through the season like a firework display.  The large pond fills with Lotus plants and flowers each year.

Terri had a vision soon after moving in to create a placed called Secret Eden, a place to share with others as an urban spiritual retreat center.  A place to clear your mind from everyday stress, connect with nature and promote wellness of body and mind.  Currently the goat yoga experience has been a huge success.

Future plans are to build a larger barn and facilities.  Terri envisions the development of a full service event venue for weddings, corporate team building, and events focused on wellness and appreciation of the sacred space she calls Secret Eden.
